Meet The Team

Between all of our staff we have a great deal of knowledge and experience in all types of animal care and nutrition.

Andy

Favourite Pet ~ Dogs
Andy started the business in 1977 after working with his parents at Rangebourne kennels delivering pet foods in the area. Andy has an extensive knowledge with pet nutrition and has a great knowledge of grooming, breeding and showing dogs. When it comes to pets there is little he hasnt seen or heard. He has several cats and 4 dogs which love to work with him. 

Emeline​

Favourite Pet ~ Cats
​Emeline is Andy's daughter and has been a part of the buisness since she was able to walk. M was Officially employed when she was around 17 years old and took a 2 year gap to work at the dog groomers. M now has a daughter who loves to help filling the shelves. At home they have Rocco the "naughty" dog and several Maine coon cats. M has had many different pets over the years including, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs and fish.

Ross

Favourite Pet ~ Dogs
​Ross is Andy's son and is never offended when mistaken for Andy on the phone. Ross has been part of the shop since he could hold a price gun and started working Saturdays in 1992. He worked full-time after leaving college and after spending several years working for himself came back in 2016. Ross has had an array of pets from dog and cats to fish and a snake. He now has Bella the Frenchie. Ross has 2 children that can often be seen in the shop keeping the staff on their toes.

Shell

Favourite pet ~ Rabbits
Shell started as a saturday girl back in 2002 for a few years and returned in 2016. Shell is Bubbly happy young lady with a great interest in cats and small 'furries'. She has cats,degus, 2 house rabbits and has owned various other pets in the past. Shell has a great interest in pet nutrition for all animals.

Sophie

Favourite Pet ~ Dogs
​Sophie came to us in 2014 for work experience as a very quiet young lady. She started working Saturdays and is now a full-time member of the team. Sophie has had Pointers, a Labrador and Weimaraners. Sophie has a real passion for dogs and their nutrition. Her favourite area of the job is cuddling customers of the 4 legged variety but always greets customers with a smile.

Flo and Lou

Favourite Treat ~ Lambs Bagel

Lou lou is top dog and keeps the others in check whilst Flo is the thinker. They both love coming to work and meeting the customers for love and attention, especially children. When at home they love to romp on Salisbury plain.

Win and Nell

Favourite Treat ~ Lambs Bagel​

These 2 are siblings, they like Lou and Flo love coming to work and greeting all the customers. Win is a typical westie and is as sharp as a pin, whilst Nell is not so but both are very placid and well behaved. In typical terrier style they love to be out walking down the canal.

Bella and Rusty

Favourite Treat ~ Rusty wrapped Trachea Bella Roast bones

Bella and Rusty can often be found by the treat section, sniffing out their next snack. Bella is Exceptionally friendly but has no sense of personal space! Rusty is very vocal but don't be put off as he is also friendly.
